From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most.
Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 during the course of our partnership.
More than 375 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.
Meet Grace Holland our Director of Philanthropy
Hey y'all, my name is Grace Holland and I am from Nashville, Tennessee! I am a Junior Secondary Education major with a concentration in Social Studies. I am thrilled and honored to be serving Epsilon Eta as Director of Philanthropy! In this position, I have the privilege of leading our chapter's efforts in service and fundraising for our national philanthropy, The Ronald McDonald House. Our chapter has been able to make a meaningful impact on the families we serve at the Ronald McDonald House in Jackson, MS as well as nationally! Being able to serve as the Director of Philanthropy for Alpha Delta Pi has allowed me to inspire and organize my sisters to come together as a community and support those in need with compassion. It has been amazing to see how our chapter is truly dedicated to service and changing the world through our actions and upholding Alpha Delta Pi's values through it all!
We collect and donate pop tabs, which are then recycled, raising funds to support Ronald McDonald Houses worldwide.
We sponsor five rooms for families at the Ronald McDonald House in Jackson, MS. It is a home away from home for families with sick children receiving medical treatment.
We write and hand-deliver letters to the families of sick children staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Jackson, MS.
Mac & Cheese Bar + Waffle Bar
We raise money for Ronald McDonald House annually through our two philanthropic events: Mac & Cheese Bar and Donut Bar. Each semester the Starkville community is welcomed into our home to enjoy either mac & cheese or donuts with a variety of toppings, music, and fellowship. Guests are also encouraged to write letters to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Jackson, MS!
